Three Myths About Thanksgiving Travel

Normally I wouldn’t take the time to call this out but I respect NPR’s Tumblr (outside of the whole ‘whee, we’re on Tumblr but only following established media outlets!’ thing). They usually post thought- and attention-worthy content in an attention grabbing but un-showy way (my favorite recent example!). Of all the media outlets dabbling on Tumblr I would most like to see NPR’s succeed.

So this? This bare bones link to an incredibly lackluster article with an underwhelming conclusion (“Thanksgiving is not necessarily the worst time to travel by air,” Mosely says.)? This disappoints me. I hope this is the result of someone on NPR’s social media staff taking a vacation day and not a change in tactics.
