People will judge you no matter what, sometimes for things you had no clue people even cared about. If you focus on being yourself you have a chance of finding people who’ll celebrate you for who you are. Friends like that are far more rewarding (and a better investment in you, your future and your happiness) than momentary praise for whoever you’re pretending to be.
