on hold with American to reschedule my flight back...
turnabout: turnabout: Luckily, my boss was all, “yeah, you should totally come back late. Come back Tuesday if you think it’s best.” Sometimes my job is kind of awesome. So I’ve managed to reschedule for a red eye out of LAX on Tuesday night. Just need another quick shuttle down to LA for one more awesome weekend!  (And possibly a little remote working on Monday from a coffee shop.) (So...

SERIOUSLY?
30minutesorlessmovie: helloxsweetie: I scored two sneak peek passes for “Fright Night.” But the showing is tonight and I’m going to see “30 Minutes or Less” with a group of my friends instead. This is probably the best thing I’ve ever made for the internet but it took me a cappuccino, an hour, and the help of a media power bachelor and is still being GIF replaced so it’s a...

northerndownpour: “Overall, though, it’s the music, the energy. It’s the highest human achievement. You’ll never get the same satisfaction from a person. Too many variables, too many emotions at stake. Music is pure. That’s all there is in life. All my life I have listened to great music, wondering how a stranger could make me feel so much. That, to me, is love. I wanted that power, that power...

From 4 Ridiculous Digital Marketing Topics That...
The argument: various ranting about -insert digital marketing specialization here- pseudo-consultants/experts and how they need to go away.
The reality: these posts are just silly, what’s the point? If a brand is too ignorant to conduct thorough research before hiring any type of consultant they deserve to lose money. Who cares that snake oil consultants exist. They do in every field.

The Demesne of the Social, Popularity, and People...
tbridge: Yesterday, Dan Zak of the Washington Post published another piece from his Night Stories series about the Guardian Angels in Adams Morgan. It’s different from the rest, told in a different style from the standard WaPo fare, and it drew some criticisms for being “too social media.”  As good media, the Post have been amping up on the controversy angle, and they’ve gone to the well for...
